Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer Wizkid has taken to social media to launch a scathing attack on his colleague Burna Boy.
The development follows an earlier incident reportedly involving Wizkid’s official DJ, DJ Tunez, who was allegedly assaulted during a confrontation with Burna Boy and members of his entourage at Obi’s house on April 6, 2026.
DJ Tunez had earlier reacted to the incident, claiming Burna Boy initiated the altercation by slapping him from behind, prompting a response before the situation escalated with the involvement of the singer’s security team.
In a separate video that surfaced online, Burna Boy was seen dancing with a towel wrapped around his waist while appearing to mock DJ Tunez, using his song “Money Constant” and making remarks that further fueled the controversy.
Reacting on his official X (formerly Twitter) page on April 8, 2026, Wizkid lashed out at Burna Boy with a series of insults, criticizing him over the incident and accusing him of relying on multiple individuals rather than handling the situation one-on-one. He reffered to Burna Boy as diddy boy accusing him of sleeping with embattled American rapper Diddy before he wins the Grammy Award.
