Kehinde Adegbodu has raised alarm after revealing that their family home was attacked by armed robbers just days after the burial of his late twin brother, Taiwo Adegbodu.
Speaking in an emotional account, Kehinde said he was away in Osogbo when the incident occurred. According to him, Taiwo’s wife called in distress, explaining that the robbers stormed the house, repeatedly asking about his whereabouts and demanding to know the location of Taiwo’s room, jewellery, phone, and car keys.
He disclosed that the attackers made away with cash, clothes, and other valuables, and even contacted their accomplice over the phone to report that he was not at home. Kehinde believes the criminals targeted the family under the assumption that funds donated during Taiwo’s funeral were still in his possession.
Lamenting the situation, he noted that the robbers showed no regard for the family’s grieving state, spending over 45 minutes in the house during the operation. He clarified that the donations received had already been used to complete a building project for Taiwo’s burial.
Kehinde further appealed to the public, stressing that he does not keep large sums of money and lives modestly. He also expressed concern for the safety of the children in the house, revealing that they have been left traumatised and now live in fear following the incident.

Kehinde Adegbodu has recounted the heartbreaking final moments of his twin brother, Taiwo Adegbodu, revealing how the gospel singer died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
According to Kehinde, the incident began late at night when Taiwo knocked on his door around 11 p.m., complaining of chest pain. Although his wife initially wanted to accompany them, Taiwo reportedly assured her that it was nothing serious and that they would return shortly.
Kehinde explained that they both conversed normally on their way to the hospital, with Taiwo even informing estate security not to lock the gate because they would not be long.
Upon arrival, Taiwo walked into the hospital and sat at the reception while Kehinde stayed behind briefly to turn off the car. He said Taiwo informed the doctor about the chest pain, prompting medical staff to prepare for initial tests.
However, while seated, Taiwo suddenly leaned his head back, appearing as though he had fallen asleep. Kehinde, thinking nothing was wrong, stepped aside to make a phone call.
Moments later, the situation took a tragic turn when the doctor began calling out to Taiwo and attempting to revive him. It was then discovered that he had passed away.
Kehinde described the incident as sudden and devastating, noting that there were no clear warning signs of the tragedy that unfolded within minutes of their arrival at the hospital.
