The University of Edinburgh (UK) Offers Full Tuition Bursary For International Master's Students

The School of Biological Sciences is offering bursaries for applicants studying eligible Postgraduate Taught Master’s (PGT) programmes in the 2026-2027 academic session.

We are offering up to two bursaries for eligible full-time students that will cover all tuition fees. For most of our programmes, these are £20,100 for UK students and £45,410 for International students (please check the Degree Finder for specific information on fees).

These awards are intended to allow highly skilled and motivated applicants to study here who might otherwise not be able to afford the opportunity. 

Eligibility:

The bursary will be awarded to one international Biological Sciences offer holder or up to two offer holders from the United Kingdom who have firmly accepted (or intend to accept) the offer for admission to an eligible postgraduate taught master’s degree programme commencing in September 2026.

Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application.

In order to gain access to the scholarship application system applicants must have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh. Please note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to five working days for all system checks to be completed and access to be granted.

We highly recommend you apply for the scholarship well in advance of the scholarship deadline date should you encounter any technical difficulties with your application which need resolved.

The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd – our web based information portal at: https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk
